Knife and sheat
Original knife and sheat, Lakota – circa 1890 – knife marked “Ontario knife” metal and wood handle with perfect “patina” of the historic period. Sheat in deer hide brain tanned and decorated with traditional pattern with original Venetian glass beads. Sinew stiches. Pendant with original thin cones and horse dyed hair.
Provenance: Pine Ridge Oglala Indian reservation from private collection.
