Original Lakota triple bat wing pipe tomahawk – circa 1850-1870 – original haft possibly oak or ash wood with wonderful “patina” of the period. “Phase III” hand forged blade with perfect patina of the time. Brass tacks original in two lines nearby the blade. On the haft several signs of usage possibly in battle. Museum Quality artifact.
Length of the haft: 26 inches (65 cm).
