Original lakota tomahawk spontoon pipe axe with pierced blade with bison effigy – phase III – hand forged blade middle 1/2 of the 19th century.
Haft probably ash or cotton wood with antique brass tacks, perfect patina of the 19th century. Beaded drop with antique venetian beads, trim with selvedge textile yellow color on brain tanned leather, probably deer, on the selvedge cloth thin cones with dyed horse hair yellow, in the middle antique sewing thimble with silk ribbons, antique hawk bells, on the back calico cotton, on the upper part elk ivory teeth original. Tall bowl from gun rifle. Perfect “patina” of the wooden haft of the 19th century.
Length of the haft: 28,74 inches (73 cm). Lenght of the blade: 11,02 inches (28 cm).
