Ledger drawing
Ledger drawing on original paper from the “First national bank” of 1907 sheet no. 36. The drawing made in 1907 is probably a reproduction of the artist’s original “Making medicine”. At the time he was captured and imprisoned he was a component of the warrior society called “Bow Srting society”, in the drawing we observe that two components have tied the two horses to their spears, other two components hold up their spears waiting to participate in the meeting. The warrior with his back to the right of the drawing has a hairstyle in “german silver hairplaces”, a symbol of a high-ranking warrior.
