Lakota quirt – horse whip made with two original 19th century strips of leather inserted into a wooden shaft probably ash, with a zig-zag pattern and with brass tacks decorations, the leather strips are wrapped in selvedge cloth with traditional Venetian glass bead embroidery of the 19th century, handle entirely covered with muslin cotton and linen fabric of the historical time, the whip has, at the base, a deer skin bracelet finely embroidered with traditional Lakota motifs in glass beads of Venice of the 19th century and two brass bells. Around the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century.
